Marvin Dang is a former Senior Vice President & General Counsel for an FDIC-insured Hawaii financial services loan company.  He handled governmental affairs and regulations, community relations, and compliance for the financial institution.

In 2006, Marvin was appointed by the President of the Hawaii State Senate to the Hawaii Identity Theft Task Force. Marvin serves as Vice-Chair of the Task Force. In 2005, the Senate President appointed Marvin to the Hawaii Anti-Phishing Task Force, which focused on identity theft issues.

The President of the American Bar Association (ABA) appointed Marvin Dang in 2006 to the ABA's Coalition for Justice.  Marvin was an appointed member for 3 years on the ABA's Standing Committee on Delivery of Legal Services.

Marvin belongs to the ABA's American Prepaid Legal Services Institute (API). He was on the API Board of Directors for 3 years. In 2000, Marvin was appointed by the ABA President to a 3 year term on the ABA Standing Committee on Group and Prepaid Legal Services.
