Let's face it--there are too many lawyers today.  All claim to be able to handle your case.  But the truth is that many of those lawyers advertising in the Yellow Pages as experts in all areas of the law simply aren't.  So how do you chose a lawyer to represent you on your accident claim of defend you in a criminal case? Check Qualifications. Ask Questions. Has the lawyer really handled this type of case before?  How many? Does the lawyer specialize in this sort of work? Don't hire a lawyer just because he handled your real estate settlement. Don't hire a lawyer just because he is your next door neighbor, or, what's worse, a friend of a friend, or your relative. Do hire a lawyer with whom you are comfortable. Do hire a lawyer with the experience and qualifications to handle your case.
