Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Angel was hired as a Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Lynchburg. He worked as a prosecutor from 1979 to 1984. In 1984, he became a partner in the law firm Smith, Angel & Falcone. In 1987, he went into private practice specializing in litigation.
Mr. Angel has extensive experience representing clients in court and is well respected in the legal community. He has been lead counsel in over a dozen capital murder cases in Lynchburg and the surrounding counties of Amherst, Bedford and Campbell.
