    My wife filed for divorce when I lost my job in the field. I guess when my money dried up so did her love. I am thrilled that i have my child half the time. This wouldnt have happened if I was still in the field so funny how things work out. My wife wanted the same amount of child support Id owe if I was still working in ND but because the law in Texas says its based on what i get now she didn't get anything. We are sharing our daughter and both pay for her when we have her. I thank Kelly for this. I really thought women always get the kid but Kelly says thats not the way it is anymore. Losing my job was a shock and hardship and then losing my wife brought me to my knees but that is when I stood up and moved on because i have my daughter and that is all I wanted. I can get a new job and a new wife. I cant get a better child or attorney. Id walked the distance for Kelly because I owe her BIG. Macy and I say a prayer of thanks each night before bedtime.

    We utilize several different law firms in an array of capacities, mostly work related, and have for over 20 years. We are simply in shock at how unprofessional we feel Kelly conducted her practice and service in this case.{para}Kelly was hired based on the reviews on this site as well as another so we feel it important to make the public aware of our experience. The initial meeting went well in that we felt she would provide a good service and work on our behalf FOR US, once we paid the retainer, it all changed. {para}We have approximately 20 emails with questions which I would never get a response to or her secretary would respond saying she would check and get back to me, which I had to pull teeth to finally get an answer, if I ever actually received an answer. It was difficult to meet Kelly due to her "schedule" and in the 3 times (hired her over a year and a half ago) she met me in person she still did not answer all my questions. {para}I had a sensitive issue due to a business and hence needed to ask very specific questions along with my business partner to be able to understand our position surrounding the issues and Kelly refused to conference call my partner in because "she doesn't conference call." I then set an appointment to meet in person and my partner flew to Dallas, drove all the way here to Longview, literally, to come in and discuss our sensitive situation at which Kelly refused to discuss and became so confrontational that my partner was there that within two minutes we fired her.{para}When I pay someone for a service, I expect to have an experience in which I feel they are actually working in my best interests, to work with the professional I paid to work with (not their secretary), and if I want a conference call, I can have a conference call. {para}I just better not see Kelly's hourly rate charged for the time her secretary spent telling me, "I'll get back to you," and then never did.....{para}I hope something positive comes out of this and Kelly actually starts working FOR her clients, which is not how we felt walking away from her service.
