Kurt has been instrumental in the development of the law in a number of published appellate cases in the Washington Courts of Appeal and Supreme Court in the past.

He has been successful at the Supreme Court on three occasions starting with Aetna v. Wadsworth and also with Estate of Jordan v. Hartford and Fairbanks v. J.B. Mcloughlin, Inc.

He has appeared before Division II of the Court of Appeals in Tacoma and won a reversal in Hall v. Custom Craft and has had numerous cases before Division I of the Court of Appeals in Seattle.
