After practicing 16 years with federal agencies or small firms, L. Clayton Smith, Jr., established his solo practice to enable him to provide the individualized, efficient and effective representation that was not practical in a larger firm setting. Through the addition of well trained and qualified staff the practice has grown in volume but remains essentially a "one lawyer shop".
