The emphasis of the practice of Gary Lietz is business litigation, especially in employment law, from both the management perspective and select employees. Del Banner emphasizes estate and business planning, and has extensive experience in agricultural law and finance. Kelly Ford specializes in real estate subdivision and property development projects, and estate planning.

All three members were partners with Hinshaw & Culbertson, a national law firm centered in Chicago, Illinois. In October of 1999 they opened their practice.
