Laws & Murdoch, P.A. began in 1961 when Ike Allen Laws, Jr. began the practice of law as a solo practioner. Timothy W. Murdoch joined the firm in 1983, Allen Laws in 1986, and Hugh Laws in 1988.

The firm's practice area is primarily the Northwest quarter of the State, including Little Rock and the Hot Springs area.
