Whether you are seeking local counsel to act as your co-counsel or are seeking to refer a case to a smaller firm, Norman M. Block, P.C. is available to assist you.

CASE REFERRAL

We welcome the referral of

o    matters where there are conflicts of interest with clients

o    matters that are too small for a larger firm

o    personal injury and medical malpractice cases

o    matters in the New York City Metropolitan area that are either too inconvenient for your firm to handle or where no one in your firm is admitted to practice in New York.

In all instances, we will work to protect your relationship with your client and provide you with information about the case and its progress if that is appropriate.  We will keep our fees and expenses to the minimum necessary, and will always respect your own billing practices and levels.   Fee sharing arrangements may be appropriate as allowed pursuant to New York Law and the New York Code of Professional Conduct.

LOCAL COUNSEL

We can serve as cost effective local counsel in the Federal and State courts in the New York City Metropolitan Area. We can move the admission pro haec vice of all attorneys who may be appearing in the court. We can serve as your guide to local practice and custom. And we can serve as the local address which may be required under New York rules. Our role on the case will be dictated by your needs, again subject to the Disciplinary Rules and Court Rules of New York.  Our fees and expenses will be kept to the necessary minimum, and will always be in line with your own billing levels and practices.

Please contact us to discuss any matters which you may wish to refer or on which you may need local counsel.
