In 1979, attorneys Debra Grossman and Jon Kurland founded Kurland & Grossman, P.C. and opened their law office in Lowell, Massachusetts. Having worked for other attorneys, they realized that clients had needs that were not being addressed by large law firms. They knew that clients did not want their case being shifted from attorney to attorney in the same firm. Clients wanted the continuity of having the same attorney finish the case that started it. Kurland and Grossman also knew that clients wanted an attorney who would listen to them and be sensitive and responsive to their needs. The firm was established to meet those needs.

In 1994 they relocated to Chelmsford. For over 22 years, Kurland & Grossman have been dedicated to providing personal legal services that are responsive to the individual needs of their clients.
