I started this firm in 1978, after having worked as a lawyer for Neighborhood Legal Services both as a law student and a lawyer. Neigborhood Legal Services is a local organization providing legal services for those who had very limited financial resources. This training provided me with experience in the field of civil rights and employment law, and other related areas such as Social Security disability. But more important, I developed a deep respect for the civil rights laws that protect employees against unfair and illegal discrimination and realized that this was an area that I wanted to be involved in over my career. Therefore, in 1978, I opened my private practice. Now, we have a staff of four who assist in this practice.  We also associate with several other attorneys, as needed, depending on the scope of the litigation.
