For over four years I served as Assistant Public Defender  in the fifteen Judicial Circuit of Florida and then I established private practice in 1998.  The years in the Public Defender's position firmly reaffirmed my belief that not all who are charged with a crime are guilty and this fact places an even greater responsibility upon the criminal defense lawyer.
