My goal in representing a client in a residential real estate matter is to "make the transaction happen." I want to facilitate - not obstruct - the deal so that a closing actually occurs.
The earlier in the process I am involved, the better I can serve you. Before signing a contract, you should consult with a lawyer - or at least include a contingency that permits a lawyer's review before the contract becomes binding.
My usual fee for residential real estate matters is $500 - and it includes negotiating/reviewing the contract, reviewing title and closing documents, and attending the closing (all of which involves approximately 3 to 5 hours).
If you are selling your house without a realtor, I can provide additional assitance. The fee range for such service would typically be from $750 to $900.
