JLJ's Nashville, Tennessee office concentrates on the representation of artists, musicians, record labels, producers and others involved in the entertainment industry. Our attorneys provide copyright counseling, contract negotiation (including song agreements, publishing contracts and recording contracts), arbitration and litigation. JLJ's attorneys regularly represent artists in negotiations with record and publishing companies, and song writers in negotiations with artists and others.

JLJ's experience also involves the representation of producers, publishers, management companies and trade organizations. Attorneys with expertise in labor relations and employment law also assist production companies and others with labor relations with AFTRA/SAG and other trade unions. When appropriate for specific entertainment matters, our entertainment attorneys work closely with attorneys in both the Little Rock and Nashville offices who provide counsel on matters involving intellectual property, tax, real estate, corporate and securities, labor and regulatory issues.
