Attorneys in both the Nashville and Little Rock offices concentrate in intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property litigation. JLJ has relationships with Tennessee and Arkansas patent attorneys which it will use as co-counsel if such need arises.

JLJ's attorneys have appeared before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and have represented clients involved in litigation over disputed rights to intellectual property with regard to each of the above areas. Our attorneys are frequently requested by Bar Associations and entertainment related organizations to speak on intellectual property issues. JLJ's clients include major record labels, publishers and artists with varying intellectual property needs. JLJ's experience in intellectual property matters is reflected in the fact that its attorneys hold positions of leadership in the American Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association, including both of the current chairs of the Nashville Bar Association's Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Committees. JLJ is an associate member of the International Trademark Association, an organization of trademark owners and firms which provide services to trademark owners.
