We also have a special expertise in the area of Matrimonial Law, and are fully versed in all aspects of Matrimonial Litigation and related areas, including, though not limited to, the negotiating and drafting of Ante-Nuptial, Post-Nuptial and Separation Agreements, Equitable Distribution, Child Custody/Visitation and Support, Maintenance, and Paternity. Elliot R. Polland, the head of our Litigation Department, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has been so since 1981. Our matrimonial attorneys are thoroughly abreast of all current developments in matrimonial law such as the case law which governs the consideration of professional licenses, practices and careers as marital property pursuant to the landmark New York Court of Appeals holding of O'Brien v. O'Brien.
