The firm has attempted to establish fees for services that are reasonable for the services to be provided. Our goal is to furnish quality legal services at a reasonable and affordable cost. The attorneys in the firm discuss the fee arrangements with the prospective client at the initial conference. In most cases, a range of expected fees can be projected based on the attorney's experience handling similar types of cases.
Many legal services can be provided at a fixed fee rate. Some of these services would be simple wills, real estate document preparation, basic corporate or business formations, and some other matters.
Civil litigation, family law, real estate, and business litigation are handled on a basis of between $175.00 and $225.00 per hour fee for attorneys and $60.00 per hour for legal assistants. For most litigation matters, retainers are required initially and as the work progresses. The retainers may range from $1,000.00 to $10,000.00 depending on the complexity of the work.
More complex business, real estate, estate planning, and oil and gas work is billed at the per hour rate, but the supervising attorney can usually estimate the total cost of the work assuming there are no unusual complications.
The firm will handle personal injury cases on a contingent fee basis. The fee is 33 1/3% of any recovery obtained prior to trial and 40% of any recovery through trial, plus expenses.
The firm takes Mastercard and Visa payments.
On occasion, certain fees and expenses can be reduced if the client has personnel or resources that will allow them to handle some aspects of document and information gathering themselves.
