Phillip B. Goode opened a law office in College Station in 1955. He was joined by Mike Hoelscher in 1974 and Cully Lipsey in 1976. The law firm of Goode, Hoelscher & Lipsey was formed in 1979. Ed Elmore joined the firm in 1988. Phillip Goode passed away in 1990 after practicing law in College Station for over fifty years.
The firm's focus has always been predominately in real estate, business transactions, and civil litigation. Two of the firm's members, Mike Hoelscher and Cully Lipsey, are shareholders in University Title Company of College Station.
From the outset, law firm member attorneys have been encouraged to be involved in community activities with their churches, various charities, and civic organizations such as United Way, Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center, Opera and Performing Arts Society (OPAS), the Dispute Resolution Center, Junction Five-O-Five, and others. |
