| Donald E. Hacker, Jr. brings nearly two decades of legal experience to Hacker & Willig clients. After graduating cum laude from Boston College Law School in 1979, Mr. Hacker practiced three years with a private law firm emphasizing product liability defense litigation, and shareholder and union representation in several national bankruptcy cases. Mr. Hacker then served as law clerk for the Honorable Kenneth S. Treadwell, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of Washington during 1983 and 1984. In private practice subsequent to 1984, Mr. Hacker is a well-respected bankruptcy strategist within the legal bar in Washington. He was the co-author of the Washington State Real Property Deskbook section on bankruptcy. He was appointed to the subcommittee on secured creditors and subcommittee on international bankruptcy of the American Bar Association. He is also the former chairperson of the King County Bar Association Bankruptcy Committee. |
