CURRENT PRACTICE

            Greg Harris is a South Carolina criminal defense attorney.  His practice is focused on criminal litigation in federal and state courts with a commitment to providing the highest quality legal representation to a select clientele.  With over 18 years of trial court experience, he specializes in handling federal and state cases across South Carolina.  He has also defended clients facing serious criminal prosecutions in the trial courts of Florida, North Carolina and New Jersey.

PHILOSOPHY

            Since 1993, Greg has successfully represented doctors, lawyers, professional athletes, law enforcement personnel, and working men and women from all walks of life.  His clients have also included corporations and corporate officials.  He always protects the privacy of his clients and treats each situation with dignity and respect.  Greg has a history and a philosophy of placing his clients? interests first.  This way, he can carefully and strategically plan and execute the best outcome for almost any situation. 

            Greg has handled numerous cases that attracted media attention-local, state and national.  He always seeks strategies to minimize his clients? exposure to the media and he is  always  successful.  One strategy is his own calculated aversion to trumpeting his successes to the media or the public.  Some law firms and attorneys seek the limelight for themselves; however, the light always shines on their clients as well.  He has found that being the subject of an investigation or a criminal charge is stressful and difficult.  Publicity only exacerbates the stress and often creates inflexibility of prosecutors, judges, and investigators.  Some of his most outstanding results have been in mostly empty courtrooms or behind closed doors in a conference room.  His promise to his clients has been, and will be, absolute confidentiality and the best effort to shield them from the intrusion of the media.
