As Mayor - City of Greenville, I very much appreciated the commitment, integrity, professionalism, enthusiasm and passion Brent Money demonstrated in carrying out his responsibilities as City Attorney during my time of service on the City Council. Brent was faced with many difficult challenges and performed exceptionally well in every instance. He has been a tremendous asset to our team.

He's an extremely competent attorney I would personally retain him if I ever needed counsel.

I want to include a caveat about the ethics question. I believe that Brent believes that his ethics are very good; but he sometimes is less than forthright in dealing with counsel. However, he follows biblical teaching--which may be a part of the problem as he follows it even when it conflicts with the Code of Ethics.
Law firm response:
It is true that I follow biblical teaching, but the Bible drives me to a higher ethical standard, not lower. I don't understand this review.
