Suzanne K. Farace

For the past four years, Ms. Farace has been a member of the Executive Council of the Bar Association of Baltimore City and has participated on a number of its committees. In 1999, Ms. Farace was elected Chair of the Young Lawyer's Division of that organization. She is a past Chair of the Maryland State Bar Association's Law Links Committee and continues to serve on that committee. In 2000, Ms. Farace was nominated to serve for a two-year term as a member of the Maryland State Bar Association Board of Governors. She has served three terms as a member of the Judicial Selections Committee of the Women's Bar Association of Maryland. Ms. Farace also belongs to the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association and the Baltimore County Bar Association. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Civil Justice, Inc. and of the Baltimore Bar Foundation, Inc. and in 2000, was elected as a Fellow of the Foundation. Ms. Farace has lectured and written articles on various topics of legal interest, including at a seminar entitled "Taking and Defending Effective Depositions in Maryland" in September, 2000. She has recently been apppointed as a Faculty Member of the Maryland State Bar Association's mandatory Professionalism Course for newly-admitted lawyers in Maryland.

Scott R. Scherr

Mr. Scherr is a member of the Baltimore County Bar Association, the Bar Association of Baltimore City, Maryland State Bar Association, and Maryland Trial Lawyers' Association. He serves as a Staff Reporter for The Advocate, a monthly publication of the Baltimore County Bar Association. For more than 12 years, Mr. Scherr has been a member of the J. Dudley Digges Inn of Court in Baltimore City, an organization where lawyers and judges from all over the State of Maryland meet monthly to discuss the practice of law. He was honored by that organization as Pupil of the Year in 1992-1993. Mr. Scherr also serves as an officer an board memb r of the Summit Chase Townhouse Association, Inc. For the past two years, he has lectured on topics relating to handling personal injury cases at the Nuts and Bolts of Civil Practice in the District Court for Baltimore City seminar sponsored by the Young Lawyers' Division of the Bar Association of Baltimore City.
