He serves as a member of the Florida Bar Business Law Section's Task Force to revise Florida Statutes, Chapter 608 (LLCs). During 1997 and 1998 led the Tax Section's successful effort to adopt legislation in Florida, which repealed the corporate income tax then imposed on limited liability companies. He has represented clients at administrative levels of IRS, and before the following Federal courts: U.S. Tax Court, U.S. District Court, and 11th Circuit Court of Appeal and State circuit courts as well as before the 3rd and 4th District Courts of Appeal.
