Rose Mary Parham knows the federal and state systems. After graduating from law school in 1994, Parham served as an Assistant District Attorney in Texas for four years. In 1999, Parham was hired as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of South Carolina where she proudly served until March of 2010. At the United States Attorney's Office Parham prosecuted more than 1000 defendants and had a conviction rate of more than 98%. The types of cases Parham litigated over the past decade included violent crime, white collar crime, sex offenders, mail and wire fraud, healthcare fraud, organized crime, narcotics, and criminal street gangs. Parham had numerous jury trials in federal and state court. Parham also handled several hundred appellate cases before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Parham received the United States Attorneys Award in 2002 and 2007 and was the lead trial attorney in the 2001 Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Case of the Year.
