FELT EVANS, LLP was formed in 1996 with the merger of two historic Utica, New York law firms: Felt, Hubbard, Bobrow & Hallak and Evans, Lutz & Panzone.

Felt, Hubbard, Bobrow & Hallak was founded in 1917 as the firm of Fuller and Brown. The practice has specialized in litigation and insurance defense in all Federal and New York State Courts.

Evans, Lutz & Panzone was founded in 1804 by Abraham Varrick, agent for the Holland Land Company, who was instrumental in developing local real estate and finance.

We combine extensive trial experience, real estate and banking experience, and the largest support staff and law office library in Central New York with automated legal research, the latest computer equipment and automated billing systems to provide our clients with effective and cost efficient advocacy. Our active, aggressive approach to the defense of civil actions has enabled us to achieve a record of consistently favorable results in the form of pre-trial settlements and favorable jury verdicts. Our historic real estate practice gives us an extensive title catalog and research bank. Our practice also extends to municipal law, environmental law, matrimonial law, estate planning and other complicated general and regulatory matters.
