The firm was founded in 1905 by Fred Fee (1880-1939) and has continued over the years with his son and grandson as principals. Earlier firm names include Fee & Liddon; Fee, Parker & Sample; Fee, Parker & Neill; and Fee, Bryan, Koblegard & Kenney. The firm is presently an affiliation of two professional associations, Fee & Koblegard, P.A. and Joseph J. DeRoss, Jr., P.A. With the exception of Joseph J. DeRoss, Jr., all firm principals are life-long residents of St. Lucie County. A balanced transactional and litigation practice is maintained by the firm within the Treasure Coast Region, constituting the 19th Judicial Circuit of Florida.
