J. David Horning was raised in Salem, Ohio, where he practiced law for ten years prior to joining Lubnau, Bailey & Dumbrill, PC. He received his undergraduate education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, graduating cum laude, in 1987, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree with dual majors of political science and Russian.
