The AMERICAN ACADEMY of MATRIMONIAL LAWYERS(AAML)is a national organization of attorneys who concentrate their practices in Divorce/Family/Matrimonial Law. The organization sponsors numerous local and national education forums to improve the knowledge of attorneys and judges who practice in this field. The Illinois Chapter raises & donates monies for charities which assist families in need. Most importantly The Academy sponsors and lobbys for legislation to improve the laws affecting divorce and families.

ELLIOT is on the Board of Managers of the Illinois Chapter.

Elliot has completed a course of study in the Mediation of divorce conflict sponsored by the AAML.He also offers services as a mediator.
