Located in Honolulu, Hawaii, with a windward office in Kailua, our law office has served Hawaii residents and visitors in civil trial and adversarial related matters for over 29 years.

Commencing practice in 1969 with the firm of Hogan, Howell & Rother, Ed Bybee started as an associate to later serving as managing partner of the firm whose name changed to Bybee Chang & Rulon in 1985. With 26 employees and eight attorneys the firm successfully served clients in some of Hawaii's largest and most important civil litigation matters including serving for six years as plaintiff's counsel in the State of Hawaii's law suit against eight defendant steel companies, architects and engineers regarding Aloha Stadium.

Priding itself on always using the best available technologies to serve our clients, our law offices use e-mail, scanners, fax machines and network computers, including Internet and CD-Rom library legal research to stay at the cutting edge of our areas of legal concentration. Grace Nakamura, our senior paralegal with over 20 years paralegal experience along with our current technology enable our office to handle the largest cases effectively, economically, and successfully.

Our goal has been for 29 years, and remains today, to provide our clients cost effective, prompt, high quality legal service.
