Founded in 1998 by two former Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation attorneys, George L. de Verges and Nicholas Katsonis, the firm represents individuals, banks, businesses, and government agencies in State and Federal Courts across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

We have more than two decades of experience in bankruptcy-related litigation, having been on both sides of automatic stay and adequate protection disputes, preference and fraudulent conveyance litigation, and plan confirmation objections.
Because we represent clients from different regions of the nation, our practice also frequently takes us to the United States District Court in both the eastern and western divisions of Massachusetts.
Bankruptcy: de Verges & Katsonis has an active Chapter 11 practice. We also handle cases under Chapters 7 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code.
