Barry began his legal practice as a law clerk to the Texas Second Court of Appeals. After a brief period in private practice as a litigator, he spent his formative years as a client in the consumer finance industry, serving as General Counsel to a mortgage bank and Assistant General Counsel to a savings and loan association.
