The Law Offices of Jennifer Lynn Thompson was founded in 1998 with the goal to inform, educate, counsel and fight for individuals at some of the most difficult times in their lives.

It is the firm’s stated mission to ensure that each and every client gets the time, effort and attention he or she deserves in order to defend their rights and secure the justice they deserve.

The firm represents clients accused of all kinds of serious felonies and misdemeanors in both state and federal courts, including white collar crime, assault and battery, sex crimes, burglary, domestic violence, drugs and narcotics, driving while intoxicated, homicide and college student arrests as well as parole and probation matters, post-conviction remedies and appeals.

Clients who are involved in a divorce get comprehensive representation in all facets of their divorce, including representation in often complex child custody and child support matters.

Ms. Thompson is relentless about making sure she and her staff stay current on the many changes in the law and emerging legal theories, personally attending upwards of 100 hours of continuing legal education sessions each year.

Her impressive education and knowledge allow her to tailor creative, successful solutions to each client’s particular problem. The equally well trained staff is able to assist clients in matters that do not require direct attorney involvement.

The firm enjoys a statewide and national reputation, representing a significant number of clients from other states in our state and federal courts and in other jurisdictions.
