John M. Cox is a member of the American Bar Association(Tort and Insurance Practice Section; Section of Litigation);State Bar of Texas; Dallas Bar Association; Texas Association of Defense Counsel; Dallas Association of Defense Counsel; and the Defense Research Institute. He has served on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy at the Southern Regional Trial Skills and Southern Deposition Courses, which provide instruction and training to practicing attorneys in the skills of depositions and trial techniques, since 1997. He has served on the visiting faculty of the Lousiana State University School of Law Trial Advocacy program in Baton Rouge, Louisiana(1997); and, serves on the visiting faculty of the Emory University School of Law Trial Advocacy program in Atlanta, Georgia (since 1998).
