AN EXPERIENCED AND SUCCESSFUL LITIGATOR SERVING NEW HAMPSHIRE SINCE 1991; DUI/DWI, DRUG CRIMES, JUVENILE CRIMES, SEXUAL ASSAULT, HOMICIDE DENFESE, MOTOR VEHICLE INFRACTIONS, FELONIES, MISDEMEANORS, FEDERAL CHARGES, RESTRAINING ORDERS.

Attorney Cotrupi, as a result of handling several hundred DWI cases over the years, has been a selected lecturer for the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers on:

1)  The use, reliability and admissibility of Portable Breath testing devises in DWI prosecutions;

2)  The mechanics, admissibility and challenges to the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus Field Sobriety Test;

Attorney Cotrupi has been asked to assist in the training of new Public Defenders in the basics of DWI defense as well as in the training of new Police Officers in trial dynamics in DWI prosecutions.

Finally, in addition to attending numerous seminars and trainings in DWI defense both in New Hampshire and Nationwide, Attorney Cotrupi completed, in February of 2006, the United States Department of Transportation DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing course.  This multiday program is the same training used by New Hampshire Police Standards in certifying officers to conduct Field Sobriety testing.

I have been asked by lawyers specialized in criminal defense in New Hampshire to help train them in DWI defense; I have been asked by law enforecment to assist in the training of new officers in DWI prosecution.  I have completed the same training in Field Sobriety testing as the officers.  I can tell you the merits of your case based on my years of DWI specific experience and training.  Other lawyers and websites will provide generic, or wrong, information about DWI defense in New Hampshire.  This is what I do, where I do it.
