Mr Travis represented me in my divorce. It was a difficult time for me, however He encouraged me to not to lose myself through the process, and we would get through this together. We did, and I received a substantial settlement.

Rich is direct, very honest, very knowledgeable, is fair, organized, pays an extreme about to details, very well thought out and planned. I appreciate the fact that he would always inform me of not just my rights, my chid's right but also my ex-husband's rights. He gives the whole protective of the case.

Hired Attorney Capt. Richard Travis

He managed to completely derail my case. He gave me terrible legal advice, made agreements with opposing counsel that I never approved, and acted without my permission. It felt like he was more aligned with the other side than with me—he was overly friendly with opposing counsel, and he was arrogant when I tried asking him questions. I felt I had to convince him of my own case, like he didn’t believe me. The decisions he made ultimately put my child at risk, and I deeply regret trusting him with such an important matter. His retainer is extremely high, and wasn’t at all worth it.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
