Bill Pickering has been providing quality advice and representation to management in labor and employment matters and to educational institutions and governmental clients for more than three decades. Bill's wealth of experience includes the successful defense of employment-related lawsuits in multiple states and the representation of employers in cases before administrative agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and National Labor Relations Board.

Bill prepares affirmative action plans for some of the area's largest employers and represents those companies in compliance reviews conducted by the federal government. He has significant experience in the handling of disputes involving independent contractors. Bill provides practical advice to clients in matters involving employment discrimination and retaliation and works with employers in addressing their obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and the National Labor Relations Act.
