Bill prepares affirmative action plans for some of the state's largest employers and represents those companies in compliance reviews conducted by the federal government. He also has significant experience in the handling of disputes involving independent contractors. Bill provides practical advice to clients in matters involving employment discrimination and retaliation and works with employers in addressing their obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the National Labor Relations Act, and the laws applicable to government contractors.
Bill understands his clients' businesses and uses his experience to assist them in making difficult employment and policy decisions. Bill is committed to excellence and to client service. His peers have given him the highest rating possible for legal ability and adherence to ethical standards. He is listed in the Best Lawyers in America for the representation of management in Labor and Employment matters.
Bill has been named a Client Service All Star by BTI Consulting Group which selects only about 300 lawyers nationwide for this honor. Selection as a Client Service All Star is based solely on nominations by corporate counsel with Fortune 1000 companies and other large corporations. In 2015, Bill was recognized by BTI as a Client Service MVP for being one of only three attorneys in the nation to be named as an All Star for five years in a row.
