Bankruptcy Litigation

James R. Chadderdon, P.C. emphasizes litigation in United States Bankruptcy Courts, both in Colorado and other federal districts. The firm has represented debtors and creditors in numerous complex adversary proceedings and contested matters. These cases involved trial of denial of discharge disputes, the trial of dischargeability claims, preference avoidance adversary proceedings, fraudulent conveyance trials and objections to confirmation of Chapter 13 plans.

As a Chapter 7 panel trustee in the District of Colorado between 1988 and 2000, Mr. Chadderdon litigated many disputes over the turnover of property of debtors' estates, including the turnover and valuation of an attorney's sixty contingent fee legal services contracts.

The firm acts as local counsel in the District of Colorado for out-of-state parties in Colorado Bankruptcy Court adversary proceedings.
