For many people divorce is much more of a beginning than it is an end. Although divorce legally ends a marriage, new issues such as the equitable distribution of marital property, spousal support, allocation of parental responsibilities, parenting time, and child support confront the former couple.  The marriage may be over, but a working relationship will continue as the agreements entered into on these difficult issues are acted upon. That working relationship can be a productive and amicable one, or it can be a destructive and miserable one. I work hard to see that my clients enjoy the former.
