This law firm engages in extensive trial practice in the fields of personal injury, products liability, state and federal criminal defense, domestic relations, federal tort claims and governmental bodies. This law firm traces its origin to the senior partner, Boyce Holleman, who began the practice of law in May of 1950. Mr. Holleman served six years as a member of the Miss. House of Representatives until he became District Attorney for the Second Circuit Court District of Miss. in 1953 which embraced the entire Miss. Gulf Coast and two inland counties. He served as D.A. for 19 years until his decision not to seek that office again in the year 1972. From 1972 to 1990, Mr. Holleman served as attorney for the Harrison County Board of Supervisors in addition to his general practice of law. Additionally, Mr. Holleman likewise served as attorney for the Harrison County School District for 15 Years. During these years, Mr. Holleman engaged in extensive trial practice, both civil and criminal, including many suits involving county government, in the Federal and State Courts. Mr. Holleman was a frequent lecturer at various CLE seminars throughout the country on trial practice and served on the faculty of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Ann Arbor, MI for a number of years. In the 1980s, Mr. Holleman was joined in the firm by two of his sons in the early 1980s and they still carry on his practice.
