MICHELLE HAUGHEY has been with the firm since 1985 as a legal secretary/paralegal. In addition to assisting with case and trial preparation, scheduling, drafting pleadings, correspondence, and working closely with clients, she is the firm's office manager and bookkeeper.

Michelle earned the designations of Professional Legal Secretary (PLS) and Certified Professional Paralegal (PP) from NALS an association for legal professionals. She was selected as Legal Secretary of the Year by the Kansas City Legal Secretaries Association in 1992. She was President of the Kansas City Legal Secretaries Association in 1993, and President of the Missouri Association of Legal Secretaries in 2001. She is an active member in all three organizations.

Michelle also serves on the Board of Directors of Squier Park Neighborhood Association, and served as President in 2001.
