pROFILE OF RIK N. SIRO

 

Rik Siro is a Trial Lawyer with over 20 years of experience evaluating and litigating claims for serious personal injury, wrongful death, employment discrimination, sexual harassment and wrongful termination. In the areas of personal injury and wrongful death, he handles cases involving car, truck, boating and motorcycle accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, dangerous products, including consumer/industrial products, defective drugs & medical devices, slip and fall injuries and other claims of negligence or intentional misconduct. He also acts as a Mediator in civil disputes in the areas of Employment Law and Personal Injury.

Mr. Siro attended law school at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, graduating with distinction (Cum Laude) in 1982. He received his B.A. degree in Economics at the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating with distinction (Magna Cum Laude) in 1979. In law school he was selected to membership in the Thurston Honor Society and as an undergraduate he was honored with admission into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He is a member of the State Bars of Missouri and California and is admitted to practice in all courts of the States of Missouri and California, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, United States District Court for the District of Kansas, and the Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal for the Seventh, Eighth, Ninth and Tenth Circuits.

Mr. Siro is on the Board of Governors of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and is an active member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, National Employment Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
