Baird, Lightner, Millsap & Kollar, P.C., is a general civil and trial practice law firm, engaging in a broad range of areas of concentration including personal injury, business, commercial and banking litigation, employment law, real estate, computer software law, workers' compensation, insurance and domestic relations law.

The firm was founded in 1983 by Ron Baird. John Lightner joined the firm in 1984, after completing a two-year Federal District Court clerkship. Mark Millsap has been in private practice since 1985 and came to the firm in 1992. In 1996, the firm was changed to Baird, Lightner & Millsap, P.C. Dana Kollar joined the firm in 1997, as an associate, and became a principal on January 1, 2001. The firm became known as Baird, Lightner , Millsap & Kollar, P.C. The firm engages in a general civil and trial practice which encompasses the entire Southwest Missouri area. Firm members are active in their professional associations as well as community activities.
