The law firm of Blaha, Hartford & Perry started in 1973 with an office at 2807 Castro Valley Boulevard, Castro Valley, California. Vera Hartford joined as a partner in 1983 and David Perry, partner, joined in 1987.

Maintaining its original office in Castro Valley, the firm moved its primary facilities to a new location at 4900 Hopyard Road, Suite 240, Pleasanton, California in 1989.
