Dianna Caley is a Partner at the firm’s Bellevue, Washington office.  Ms. Caley began her career representing the Colville Confederated Tribes in Grand Coulee, Washington. Ms. Caley was subsequently commissioned by the United States Army. As an attorney for the Army, Ms. Caley was responsible for advising commanders regarding compliance with Army, State and Federal regulations as well as ensuring that each unit within the specific branch was in compliance with the Army environmental regulations.

Ms. Caley is an experienced litigator and has advised employers in a variety of areas including EEOC compliance, hiring and retention practices and ADA issues as well as defending employers in various employment related litigation matters.

Ms. Caley, along with her employment law practice, has a growing creditor’s bankruptcy and foreclosure practice where she effectively represents creditors, and corporations in all aspects of Bankruptcy needs.  Ms. Caley has litigated a number of adversary proceedings, including preferences, fraudulent transfers and objections to discharge.   She has been involved in litigation in a wide range of matters, such as adequate protection, relief from the automatic stay, objections to the adequacy of disclosure statements, and objections to plan confirmation.

Ms. Caley is also frequently called upon to serve as an arbitrator by the Courts and was recently appointed as a panel mediator for US Bankruptcy Court Western District of Washington.

• Defended and prosecuted breach of contract, UCC-9, and UCC-2A in a civil dispute in a purchase and sale agreement of an ongoing multimllion dollar business concern.  Reviewed secured transaction documents and sought accounting of secured property in determining damages.

• Prosecuted and secured property secured by UCC-9 filings.  Also successfully recovered money owed to the client by the Defendant.
