Serving you with dignity! Call today for your family law needs

A confrontation with the Virginia legal system due to a family dispute or criminal charge can be stressful and overwhelming. Allow an attorney with more than 24 years of experience handle your legal case and have confidence in knowing that you will obtain the best possible settlement. My name is Wanda Phillips Yoder, and I vigorously work toward protecting my clients' rights while treating them and their cases with the care, respect and attention they deserve.

My dedication and passion regarding my practice has earned me a BV® Distinguished Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell® for my professionalism and ethics. I provide Virginia residents with sound counsel and strong representation regarding the following areas:

-Family law

-Collaborative divorce

-Adoption

-Child custody

-Visitation

-Child support

-Traffic violations

-Domestic violence

-Paternity

-Elder law

-Guardianship

-Juvenile law

-Criminal law

Because I understand the apprehension associated with confronting any legal situation, my goal is to make the process as simple, affordable and as quick as possible. I thoroughly analyze your case's unique circumstances in order to handle it effectively and efficiently, and I respond to my clients promptly. While I advocate alternative dispute resolution techniques, like arbitration and mediation, I welcome the opportunity to take your case to court if it stands to produce a better result for you. And because I appear in trial and civil courts throughout Virginia, I also have the necessary negotiation and court presence to effectively defend you against a criminal prosecutor.

The first time I called them for assistance the operator said that we needed to come in for a consultation and pay. I asked to talk with either Wanda Fairchild or James Yoder first to ask questions about their firm, and my case. Neither of them called back. I called three more times, left messages on their voice mail and clearly communicated that I would pay for their time on the phone to discuss the case and to make sure that they would be a good fit. No one ever returned a call.
