Almand & Wiggins law firm started in the mid 1990's when Jim Wiggins and Hale Almand decided to form a professional association. With over 50 years of legal experience between them, Jim and Hale each had already had long and distinguished careers in the bar. Although both attorneys desired to remain independent practioners in their respective cities of Eastman and Macon, they also realized that each could benefit from an alliance. With this in mind, both attorneys opened their offices up to each other and began operating under the banner of "Almand & Wiggins".

Jim continues his criminal law and civil litigation practice in Eastman while Hale and his associates maintain a general practice in Macon. Recently, Hale expanded his end of the association by opening a branch office in Decatur, Georgia (please see "specialty areas" page).
