Dennis is a strong supporter of pro bono and other volunteer efforts within the legal industry. Hi own pro bono efforts include representing a high school student who was the victim of an unconstitutional strip search and representing indigent victims of domestic violence. Dennis also provides pro bono advice to small nonprofit organizations. Active in his community, Dennis serves on the Board of Directors of Day One, a nonprofit group that combats teen substance abuse. He chairs Day One's Public Policy Committee. He is also a member of the Friends of Lithgow Library.
