Nursing Home Neglect and Abuse (January 2003)

A $400,000.00 settlement was obtained against a South Florida Nursing Home for neglect and abuse in failing to treat pressure ulcers in an elderly resident. 

Motor Vehicle/Pedestrian Accident (Summer 2001)

A $500,000.00 settlement was obtained within six months on behalf of a client who was run over by a motor vehicle while walking in a parking lot. The client sustained severe injury to his legs requiring two surgeries. An additional claim is still pending against the owner of the parking lot for improper design and construction.

Nursing Home Neglect (Fall 2001)

A confidential settlement was reached on behalf of a resident of a nursing home located in Palm Beach County, Florida. The resident sustained severe bed sores while a resident of a nursing home.

Nursing Home Abuse/Neglect (Spring 1999)

A significant settlement was obtained on behalf of a victim's family as the result of neglect in a nursing home facility. The facility failed to obtain timely medical treatment for it's resident.

Class Action vs. Palm Beach School Board

A class action settlement was reached on behalf of a group of parents against the Palm Beach County School Board for its charging of illegal fees to public school students.  The settlement resulted in a major change in School Board Policy and the schools are no longer permitted to charge fees to students.

Wrongful Death/Survivor Lawsuit (Spring 2000)

In a case arising from a death in an automobile accident in Arizona, we recovered on behalf of the surviving family a substantial settlement within two months.

Premises Liability Case (Summer 2000)
