J Arvid Anderson

Arvid was born in Aberdeen, Washington and grew up in Spokane and Tacoma.  He received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Puget Sound and graduated with honors from Gonzaga University School of Law.

Arvid has been in the private practice of law in Tacoma since 1972. The majority of his practice is in the area of personal injury litigation, family law and general practice including wills and probate.

Arvid has been active in many civic and charitable activities including President of the Pierce County American Cancer Society and Chairman of the Pierce County Boundary Review Board.

Arvid was named by the survey,"The Best Lawyers in America 1987," as among the top one percent of lawyers in the United States.  He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association and the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association.
