He has been lead attorney in numerous state and federal appellate decisions. Michael King is a founding member and past-president of the Washington Appellate Lawyers Association. Emmelyn Hart-Biberfeld served as a law clerk in the Supreme Court. Sidney Tribe served as a Court of Appeals clerk. He served on the committees which wrote the Model Rules of Judicial Conduct and Discipline. He is a fellow of the ABA Center of Professional Responsibility and a member of the Association of Professional Lawyers.
